Raul entered the world in San Antonio a city that would forever remain intertwined with his story as the cherished son of Beatrice Almendarez and Raul Almendarez Sr., both of whom preceded him in death. From his earliest days, Raul exhibited a warmth of spirit and a generosity of heart that endeared him to all privileged to know him.

Though life bestowed upon him both joys and hardships, Raul navigated each season with resilience and grace. His vibrant presence enriched every gathering, and his unwavering kindness became a beacon for those around him. He was a steadfast brother, a devoted son, and a loyal friend a man who not only carried the burdens of his own heart, but willingly shared in the sorrows and triumphs of those he held dear.

Raul’s memory continues to live on in the hearts of his beloved siblings: Connie, who tenderly mourns her brother; Ralph, Andrew, and John, his devoted brothers; and Linda, his loving sister. In the quiet embrace of memory, Raul also joins his dearly missed mother, Beatrice, his father, Raul Sr., his sister Sandra Sanchez, and his brother Johnnie Sanchez, who have all gone before him.
