Dependable Mortuary Services was founded in 2014, and, in 2019, new ownership began under licensed funeral director, embalmer, and restorative artist Miranda Lee Gonzales to provide quiet, meticulous, behind-the-scenes care for funeral homes and the families they serve. What began as one embalmer answering calls at all hours has grown into a trusted funeral home and trade service offering removals and transport, embalming and preparation, complex restorative art, and cremation care with a clear chain of custody and respectful handling from first call through final disposition. Known for taking on challenging cases. We approach every decedent as someone’s whole world, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, dignity, and reliability. Today, DMS not only supports high-volume and after-hours needs for families across Texas but also invests in education and training for apprentices and working professionals, all while staying committed to treating every decedent with dignity, every call with urgency, and every partner with honesty and respect.
